1. Service Agreement

Elia Home Security operates as an ADT Authorized Provider. By purchasing any home security system or monitoring service through Elia Home Security, you agree to enter into a monitoring agreement with ADT LLC and acknowledge that ongoing monitoring services are provided by ADT, not Elia Home Security.

All standard ADT monitoring agreements are 36 months in duration. California residents are eligible for a 24-month agreement. Early termination fees apply if you cancel before the end of your agreement term.

2. Installation & Equipment

A Customer Installation Charge of $99.00–$199.00 applies depending on the package selected. This charge covers professional installation of your security system by a trained technician. Equipment provided as part of a promotional offer remains subject to the monitoring agreement terms.

For Video and Control package offers, the installation charge range is $99–$199. For standard monitoring packages, the installation charge is $99.

3. Eligibility Requirements

  • Offers apply to homeowners only. Renters are not eligible without landlord authorization.
  • A satisfactory credit history is required for all monitoring agreements.
  • Offers are valid for new ADT Authorized Provider customers only and are not valid on purchases directly from ADT LLC.
  • Local permit fees may be required by your municipality and are the responsibility of the customer.

4. Payment Terms

Form of payment must be by credit card or electronic charge to a checking or savings account. Monthly monitoring fees are charged automatically on your billing cycle date. Pricing shown reflects the base monitoring rate and does not include applicable taxes, permit fees, or optional add-on services.

The $27.99/month plan does not include the Quality Service Plan (QSP), which is ADT’s Extended Limited Warranty. QSP is available as an optional add-on.

5. Early Termination

If you cancel your monitoring agreement before the end of your contract term, an early termination fee will apply. The early termination fee is calculated based on the remaining months of your contract. Please review your monitoring agreement for the specific termination fee schedule applicable to your plan.

6. Money-Back Guarantee

ADT offers a 6-month money-back service guarantee — the longest among major national providers. This guarantee applies only after ADT has made attempts to resolve a system-related issue and was unable to do so within the first 6 months of your contract. Equipment must be fully removed before any refund is processed. Issues caused by the customer’s own actions do not qualify.

7. Theft Protection Guarantee

If a burglary occurs while your ADT system is armed and active, ADT may reimburse up to $500 of your homeowner’s insurance deductible. All requirements of the ADT Theft Protection Guarantee must be satisfied. You must submit a claim within 60 days of the incident, including a signed guarantee certificate, a letter requesting reimbursement, a copy of the police report, and a copy of your accepted insurance claim. ADT reserves the right to reject applications that do not meet all conditions.

8. ADT Command Interactive Services

ADT Command Interactive Services require purchase and/or activation of an ADT-monitored alarm system with monitored burglary service, along with a compatible device with internet access. These services do not cover the operation or maintenance of household equipment connected to them. Not all services are available at all package levels or in all geographic areas. Standard message and data rates may apply to text alerts. Two-way encryption is only available with compatible SiX™ devices.

9. Offer Restrictions

Promotional offers cannot be combined with any other offer. Elia Home Security and SafeStreets reserve the right to modify or discontinue any offer at any time. All offers are subject to availability and may vary by geographic area. The maximum advertised value for any promotional offer is $850. The Visa Gift Card offer maximum value is $100.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the state in which service is provided. Any disputes relating to your monitoring agreement are subject to the dispute resolution terms set forth in your ADT monitoring agreement.
